Avive Health is committed to thoughtful, clinically grounded innovation. We welcome research proposals that support ethical practice, patient safety and meaningful advances in mental health care. If you are interested in proposing research within our clinical environment, please submit a brief proposal using the form below. All submissions are reviewed by our research governance committee.

Why we welcome research proposals

Research plays an important role in strengthening mental health care by improving understanding of what works, for whom and in what context. We are particularly interested in proposals that:

  • enhance patient experience, safety or clinical outcomes
  • support clinician learning, service evaluation or quality improvement
  • contribute to evidence-informed and trauma-informed models of care
  • are feasible within a private clinical setting and respectful of participant wellbeing


We value collaboration with clinicians, universities, health services and research teams, while ensuring appropriate governance, confidentiality and ethical oversight.

How the review process works

After submission of your research proposal

  • Our research committee will review to assess alignment, feasibility and governance considerations
  • Follow-up from our team to clarify requirements such as ethics approval, data governance or resourcing
  • Outcome and next steps communicated, including pathways to proceed, refine or redirect

Submitting your research proposal

Please provide a brief overview of your proposal. You may attach a supporting document such as a protocol, concept brief or draft ethics application. A member of our team will be in touch following committee review. Please include;

Governance acknowledgements

By submitting your proposal you acknowledge that 

  • This submission is a proposal only and does not involve patient or staff contact, or access to data, until governance requirements are confirmed
  • Additional documentation may be requested, including ethics approval, protocol details or privacy and data management information.
  • Proposal submission does not guarantee approval. Some proposals may require additional documentation or external ethics approval before progressing.
